Dr Wes Brown is a lecturer on the BA (Hons) Creative and Professional Writing Programme and managing editor of UEL's annual publication of new writing by UEL students, The Gallion.

OVERVIEW
Dr Wes Brown is a lecturer on the BA (Hons) Creative and Professional Writing Programme. He is a writer, editor and critic with a background in the publishing industry. His reviews and essays have appeared in the Times Literary Supplement, Literary Review and New Humanist among others. He was the founding editor of Dead Ink Books, has freelanced as an editorial consultant and worked for many years for the National Association of Writers in Education (NAWE). His most recent novel, Breaking Kayfabe (2023), is an autobiographical work about masculinity, class and identity based on his experiences as a pro wrestler.
