Video Resources on the Application of Creative Arts Therapies with Traumatised/Refugee & Asylum Seeking Children

This page provides links to video presentations on trauma screening, assessment and the use of creative arts therapies including art, dance, drama, play, and music, therapies with traumatised children including refugee and asylum seeking children.

These links allow free access to video presentations by practitioners in the field offering their expert views, theories, evidence - based practice and practice-based evidence on the application of various creative art therapies with their traumatised children some of whom are from refugee and asylum seeking population.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to creative arts practitioners and experts whose work has been cited below, enriching our portal and practice of professionals working with refugee and asylum seeking children.

The video resources below have been researched and compiled by Dr Farkhondeh Farsimadan, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist who is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and an HCPC registered psychologist.

Role of Creative Arts in Child Development and Treating Trauma
