Sport Clearing at UEL
You’ll have access to a range of student-led and teacher-led initiatives to support your studies and beyond. Our SMILES project allows students in their final year to peer mentor their fellow students in earlier years of study, providing first-class support and guidance. Our staff will also help you find a placement that suits you and fits in with your studies and other commitments.
Located on our Docklands Campus, SportsDock is home to Sport at UEL and is where much of our teaching on our courses takes place. Opened in 2011, the £21 million facility was the training base for TeamUSA in the lead up to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Since then we've also hosted sports teams and organisations both professional and amateur, as well as competitions on a local and global scale. Our Docklands campus houses four state-of-the-art sports labs and clinics with industry standard equipment.
Apply for sport Clearing courses at a department with a stunning portfolio of industry links, including organisations such as ActiveNewham and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We've also partnered with West Ham Foundation to deliver some of our courses, providing first-hand experience with a Premier League club. Our industry links put us at the heart of career opportunities for our students, helping you find the right path into your chosen discipline.
