Rugby
UEL men’s rugby club is a competitive, sociable team that train and compete weekly in the BUCS league. In the 2017-18 season the team finished 2nd in their league and made it to the cup final where they had the opportunity to complete at Allianz Park.
The rugby team are real ambassadors for UEL and always support other clubs when they do not have a match. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the club whether that is playing, coaching, being part of the committee or supporting the club with their media and writing blogs.
Training takes place every Monday from 7.00-9.00pm at East London Rugby Club.
The rugby club train and play their matches at East London Rugby Club which is in close proximity to West Ham Station. The club welcomes players of all ability.
As a fully paid up member of the rugby club every player gains access to our fantastic coaching programme and the membership fee covers all playing kit, player insurance, match day travel, facility hire and referees' fees. The club also run free O2 touch sessions weekly held on the MUGA at SportsDock.
