This course serves as an introduction to Early Childhood and Education courses and will enable learners without traditional qualifications to access the University of East London to study either of the following undergraduate courses.

Our Foundation Year programmes are perfect for you if:

  • You do not have the relevant qualification for direct entry to Level four
  • You have studied another subject area and want to continue to one of our programmes
  • You are a mature student who wanted to access Higher Education

This course makes higher education truly accessible for people who would find traditional study options difficult to balance with other commitments. This course will build your confidence and after a year you will gain a strong understanding of the subject area.

Choose one of our BA (Hons) degrees that include a foundation year

Complete your foundation year

After you've completed your foundation year you can move to any eligible degree

Complete your chosen BA course

Complete your chosen BA (Hons) degree, leading to many employment opportunities. You could even study on one of our postgraduate degrees
