Career Professional Development and Short Courses

Hero Carousel

ABOUT OUR CPD AND SHORT COURSES

The School of Health, Sport & Bioscience has developed a portfolio of industry ready courses across the allied health professions and nursing as well as public health & sport. All the courses on offer within the school have been developed with industry providers to meet the needs of our employer providers and ensure that we develop industry ready candidates. As a career-first university, we have a proven track record of collaborating with employers to provide industry ready education across many modes of delivery, from short courses to 3-year degrees.

In order to further develop the candidates once they are out in the workforce, we have begun to develop a wide portfolio of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses utilising our cross-school specialisms. This will enable students to be further ready for the workforce as inter-professional learning will develop their skillsets to work across professional roles and develop unique skills.

We offer a range of accredited courses as well as a wide variety of non-accredited study days that encompass the vast offering available within the School of Health, Sport & Bioscience. Alongside this we can work with employers, including NHS trusts, STPs, CCGs, Primary Care and Social Care and Training hubs to develop a range of bespoke courses to fit the needs of your workforce.

To discuss the opportunities available to you, please email the Health, Sport and Bioscience CPD team

ACCREDITED COURSES

We can offer a selection of accredited, credit-bearing courses and modules to provide education that will directly improve understanding, knowledge and skills within your workforce.
