Dr Shrehan Lynch is the course leader for the Sports Foundation Degree and teaches across the undergraduate provision in Applied Sport & Exercise Sciences. Shrehan is the former Subject Leader of our Initial Teacher Education Programme in Physical Education in Education & Communities. Her research interests are teacher education, physical education, youth sport, and social justice.

OVERIVEW
In 2019, Dr Shrehan Lynch became a Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education at the University of East London (UEL). Shrehan's current role includes working in the Department of Education and Communities and focuses on training future teachers through the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), School Direct, and Apprenticeship routes.
For the last decade, Shrehan Lynch has been committed to working with young people and adults in education. She began her career as a secondary school physical education teacher. In 2015, she was awarded a Ph.D. tuition scholarship at the University of Alabama (UA). Since then, alongside her doctoral studies (sport pedagogy), she has worked as an academic and teaching fellow.
