Mitra has designed courses and modules in Fintech field at both postgraduate and undergraduate level and has supervised numerous Master and PhD dissertations in this area. Her key areas of research expertise are Fintech, Financial Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Econometrics and Financial Innovation. Her research focuses on crowdfunding investment, bitcoin price volatility, financial fraud detection and prevention, and short-term dynamics in stock markets.
