Jo is Course Lead for Level 6 Teacher Apprenticeships, leads the Humanities and RE route on Primary PGCE and teaches on the Primary PGCE.

OVERVIEW
Jo is an experienced primary teacher who has taught in both Edinburgh and London. Following her MA in Education Policy and Society from King’s College, Jo became an Assistant Headteacher at a London infant school.
She joined UEL in 2021 where she teaches on the PGCE Primary and Teacher Apprenticeship programmes with a specific focus on classroom practice, humanities subject knowledge and learning theory.
