Dr Adaba’s teaching focuses on MBA Business Analytics and Applied Business Analytics. He believes that practical, hands-on experience using big data analytics and visualisation tools to generate business intelligence and solve business problems is essential for preparing students to excel in the current data-driven business environment.

Overview
Dr Godfried Adaba is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law (RDSBL). He received a PhD in Information Systems from Birkbeck, University of London, and an MSc in Computer and Systems Sciences from Stockholm University, Sweden. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
His research interests include business analytics, information systems management, information and communication technology for development (ICT4D), and social media. He is particularly interested in understanding how organisations can use data analytics and information systems to improve decision-making processes and gain business insights. He is also interested in exploring how technology can facilitate development in emerging economies through ICT4D initiatives.
Finally, he investigates the impact of social media on organisational communication, consumer behaviour, and brand perception and how firms can effectively leverage these platforms to achieve strategic goals. Ultimately, Dr Adaba’s research aims to identify how technology can drive value in the business and social spheres.
