Why did you choose to study at UEL?
UEL is one of the best schools in student Diversity, Academic Excellence, Affordable tuition fees and the strong Alumni Association all contributed to make me choose UEL .
What is your one special memory of your time at UEL?
My special time in UEL is the first week in the school. The elaborate induction and warm welcome and tour activities for us, it is eternally memorable for me.
What have you done since graduating from UEL?
I have been in Private Legal Practice, Part-time Lecturing, and I also ventured into Politics. I contested for Federal Parliamentary seat of my Constituency in 2015 and 2019 in Nigeria.
What is your current job role? And what does it involve?
I am the principal Partner in the Law Firm TONIBEN AND ASSOCIATES. It involves court appearances and doing solicitors work. I administer and manage the Law Office. I also Lecture my students Law.
How did UEL help you get to where you are now?
UEL helped me get to where I am today because it exposed me internationally, widened my Horizon and vision toward life and business, I became cosmopolitan. due to the flexible school program.
What advice would you give your younger self?
I would advise my younger self to always go after my dream, without fear of failure. If had not dared I would not have been to UEL and UK and I would not have gotten to where I am today.
What advice would you give to UEL current students preparing to graduate?
I would advise the intending Graduands and students of UEL to try to excel in their course because it surely will be a precursor to ultimate career excellence and excellence in life.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know:
I am a shy but very determined person, but most people do not know.
If you were to do it all again, would you still choose UEL?
I will Choose UEL over and over again if I have the opportunity to make a choice again.
