Why did you choose to study at UEL?
I chose to study at UEL because it was the first University to offer Positive Psychology in the UK and offers the most up to date lecturers and content.
What is your one special memory of your time at UEL?
Making so many valuable connections with study peers - people who I now count as my expert network.
What have you done since graduating from UEL?
My coaching business has gone from strength to strength. I am a business owner and graduating with the MAPP-CP massively increased my confidence!
What is your current job role? And what does it involve?
I am the director of transformandthrive
I deliver employee wellbeing and mindset workshops, one to one executive coaching and wellbeing consultancy.
How did UEL help you get to where you are now?
UEL helped me by boosting my professional knowledge and confidence.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Relax. You know more than you think you do and you'll always be learning - so focus on the experience and not the end goal.
What advice would you give to UEL current students preparing to graduate?
Connect with as many of your study peers as you can. Communities are not only vital to your learning experience at Uni but to your life and career afterwards.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know:
I have a strong spiritual core which has nothing to do with religion or faith.
If you were to do it all again, would you still choose UEL?
With a few tweaks here and there, yes!
